First up is the EdgeRouter 12P, an upgraded iteration of the EdgeRouter 12. It boasts a robust 8 Gbps switching performance and features 24V PoE across all Ethernet ports.

Next, we have the EdgePower 54V 72W, a budget-friendly solution for powering 54V WISP links such as airFiber, complete with battery backup capability.

EdgeRouter 12P Empowers AirMAX and LTU with 24V PoE

The EdgeRouter 12 series offers top-notch performance at a competitive price point. With the EdgeRouter 12P, we take it a step further by integrating a 24V PoE switch, eliminating the need for a separate one. This not only adds convenience but also saves space and reduces site costs, as it efficiently powers airMAX and LTU products with 24V PoE.

Featuring ten RJ-45 ports that deliver Gigabit speeds and two Gigabit SFP uplinks for enhanced flexibility and reliability, the EdgeRouter 12P is designed to meet various networking needs. Each 24V PoE port supplies 17W of PoE power, with a total maximum of 120W across all ports.

Included with no additional cost, the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS) effectively manages the ER-12P and other EdgeMAX products. UNMS provides a unified, user-friendly interface for comprehensive network management capabilities, simplifying the management process for users.

EdgePower EP-54V-72W: Intelligent 54V Power Solution

Introducing the EdgePower EP-54V-72W, an efficient solution for powering high-power 54V PoE devices while providing battery backup. Designed with affordability in mind, it’s perfect for devices such as airFiber, requiring 40-50W PoE power depending on the model.

Managed and monitored by UNMS software, the EP-54V-72W offers remote monitoring capabilities via SNMP MIB.

Featuring a 12V interface, it maintains battery charge and seamlessly switches to backup power mode during AC power outages. Technicians can replace the battery without service interruption.

Equipped with three 54V outputs – two RJ45 PoE ports and one DC power connector – it offers versatile connectivity options. The two 10/100M Ethernet PoE interfaces allow connection to a switch and addition of an 802.3af PoE device like a surveillance camera. Compatible with most 802.3af/at PoE devices, the 54V PoE ensures wide compatibility.
